Free Knit Dishies

The back story: When my teenage neighbors taught me (Dana) to knit, the first project they showed me was Grandmother’s Favorite dishcloth. Later, after getting the hang of how to knit and purl, I wanted to spruce up the dishcloths a bit. So, I sought out other patterns and even charted my own (the smiley face is my own creation)! So, here you go.

I live around the corner from your Mom and Dad. I saw a double faced dish cloth -each side had a different design and color from the other but the cloth was all one piece. Do you have a pattern for such a cloth?

I love these dish clothes with designed on them.

    • Great question. I think you are referring to double knit. No, we don’t have anything like that. I’ve never tried double knitting. But I agree…it is beautiful! If you haven’t already, you’ll want to join ravelry.com. There are a ton of free patterns (as well as patterns for sale) there.

      Enjoy!
